Chantelle Pianetta, originally from San Francisco Bay Area, began dancing at age 5 at the Contra Costa Ballet Centre. By age 14, she was invited to train at the School of American Ballet year-round. While at SAB, she performed with the New York City Ballet and originated roles in new works for the New York Choreographic Institute. In 2008, Chantelle enrolled in Columbia University’s School of General Studies and was a member of the Columbia Ballet Collaborative. Chantelle moved back to California to join Company C Contemporary Ballet in 2010. Later on, she became a leading member of Menlowe Ballet and a faculty member at Menlo Park Academy of Dance. Her students have gone on to join several renowned companies including: San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, and BalletMet II.
Currently located in San Diego, she is a Soloist with Golden State Ballet and a teacher at the GSB Academy. In addition to her ballet expertise, Chantelle is a NASM certified personal trainer and a Champion ranked West Coast Swing professional.
