We first found AIM when Tamara was recommended to us as the best option in the area for ballet lessons for my daughter, and this has proven to have been
great guidance. When Covid hit, she was offering a full schedule online and my daughter’s studio was not, so she started classes there full time, thru Zoom. My
daughter and I both recognized that the instruction at AIM was far superior to what she had previously, and my daughter has loved the opportunity to take
classes in areas like musical theater and acting, that she did not have before. AIM has a wonderful culture where my daughter feels safe and supported, by
both the faculty and her fellow students. Each student is recognized for their unique talents and has an opportunity to shine. We will continue to make the longer drive, because AIM’s environment and instruction is absolutely worth it.
My daughter started dancing at Artistry In Motion 2.5 years ago. Before that, we spent 7 years at a different studio that was primarily ballet-focused. A friend had
been raving about Artistry In Motion for years, so when my daughter became interested in trying more dance styles, we knew exactly where to go. She took on a full schedule right away, including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, acro, choreography, lyrical, musical theater, and vocal/acting. Most importantly though, she continued taking ballet and the growth she has made as a ballet dancer has been incredible! For a studio that offers all genres of dance and the performing arts, it’s really remarkable that the ballet training is so top-notch. My daughter is also a member of AIM’s competition team. She is thriving and has never been happier! She loves all the opportunities to perform on stage and she really enjoys the camaraderie of the team. The director of Artistry In Motion, Tamara Zink, has done a great job of cultivating a supportive, nurturing, and positive environment, while still motivating everyone to work hard and continually strive to improve. This team and studio have become a family to us. The team members and parents are all very respectful toward one another, and genuinely happy for each other’s success. I believe this is because of the atmosphere and culture that Tamara has created at AIM. She cares about the children and their well-being immensely. We feel very fortunate to have found Artistry In Motion. Not only is my daughter getting exceptional dance training, she is also learning a lot of invaluable life lessons (determination, resilience, integrity, belief in yourself, etc) that will help her succeed in all aspects of life!
My daughters’ have been a part of AIM since the very beginning overs 8 years ago now. It was the best decision we have made for our girls who love to dance and it’s their
home away from home. Tamara has created an environment that is nurturing and focuses on the growth of every child who walks through the doors of her studio. Her
focus on quality of instruction, cultivating individual strengths and teamwork shines through in every routine, performance and show she has produced. I have seen
tremendous growth in technique and artistry year after year not just in our own kids but in all of her students. There is not another studio in Spokane that offers kids a place to grow, learn, and cultivate their love of dance and the performing arts.
My daughter has danced at Artistry in Motion for 8 years and found a passion for dance unlike anything else in her life! She takes classes across all genres and is also on the competition team. Without a doubt, AIM is her family and her home away from home. Not only is the instruction incredible, but the supportive environment is unmatched. There is no way I can put into words the sense of friendship, support, and teamwork that has been fostered, but if you watch them dance together it is evident. The director, Tamara Zink, and the other instructors not only teach beautiful technique, they also teach life lessons that will translate well beyond dance in all the years to come. Thank you AIM for helping my daughter develop into a confident dancer, giving her endless opportunities for personal growth, and showing her that her dream of dancing beyond high school is a possibility. There is no place on earth as magical as the ballet studio. Tamara Zink is the wonderful instructor that makes it all possible. I have had so much fun in Tamara’s classes. I am challenged, yet encouraged and always free to be an artist. A truly great teacher is the spark in the wonder of ballet. I am so grateful to Tamara for sharing her knowledge and experience, which is enrichment to all of us.
I first met Tamara Zink 15 years ago. I have worked with her as a fellow dancer, choreographer, assistant director and coach many times. Tamara brings light to all she touches. Her positive energy and vibe is contagious. She is truly a master in the theatre arts dance field. Tamer’s experience and vision for clean line and storytelling is what makes her so special. I would go anywhere to work with Tamara and I am in line with many others. She is always my first choice to assist me in directing and choreographing. My wish would be for Tamara to live close to me so I could work and collaborate with her daily. Tamara has touched many lives and will continue to touch lives and help people feel better about themselves by building confidence and self esteem in them. I believe Tamara is an angel on earth! I would recommend Tamara to any project! I feel lucky to know her.
I have been in show business for over 20 years. In my performing career there are only a handful of people I would put in the “Professional/Elite” category, Tamara Zink is one of those people. I have had the pleasure of knowing Tamara for several years now, and worked closely with her on a couple of occasions. Her passion for not only her own success, but others too, is something that makes her stand out in a crowd; and her professionalism is beyond reproach. As someone who is challenged in the dance department, I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and encouraging choreographer/teacher. She is caring when it comes to understanding the challenge, but strong enough to push her students through those barriers. She is a joy and a shining spirit.
