Krystal Metzger

Krystal began dancing here in Spokane at a young age and quickly realized the joy dance brought to her. During her dance training years, she regularly attended workshops and competitions nationwide, began participating in student teaching programs at 13 years, and gained multiple dance leadership roles during high school. Throughout the years, she has trained in a variety of styles with focused teaching experience in Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Acro Dance.
Although Krystal was offered various dance opportunities in college, she decided to pursue her passion for teaching and accepted a job at a local dance studio while attending Eastern Washington University to obtain her degree in Education. Krystal continues to grow in her knowledge of dance and teaching techniques through workshops and classes including becoming a certified teacher through Acrobatic Arts and WIAA. Safety and progression growth are a focus for all of Miss Krystal’s classes. She has loved getting to build the Acro Dance program at Artistry in Motion as well as teaching various other styles at the studio. Her passion has always been to help students reach their full potential and hopes to continue to do so throughout her teaching career.
